This is a place where you will find people from all walks of life, a place where people gather for one purpose and one purpose only… To dance.
The name of this place is Trocadero Underground. As the name indicates, it is located underground in the corridor linking Trocadero’s arcades to the Piccadilly Circus tube station. There you will find an abundance of dancer from the absolute beginners to the world-class experts all jamming to the urban beats.
The walls have been covered in astonishing graffiti art that seems to tell the world that ‘we are not here just to dance, but we are here to stay’.
This spot was given to dancers to help support the art of dance. The passion and love for dance you will experience here is overwhelming. Captivating many of the passer-by’s attention, who often haven’t got a clue of where they have walked into. Just by looking at the faces of the dancers you can see they are truly dedicated to mastering their art. Many are here every day practicing and refining their skills.
Many events are held up hear bringing together DJ’s, Beat Boxers, and various types of dancers from old school funk, to krumpers and breakers, you name it, you will find it here. This fusion of music, graffiti and dance in a makes it a melting pot where inspiration never runs dry, no wonder why some of Britain’s best B-Boy and B-Girl dancers reside here. For that reason we rate this as one of the coolest, most awesome, or simply put one of the most Otow spot in the heart of London.
